a multi-media installation of works by Sheridan College Design students featuring Ontario's Polar Bears
Did you know that Ontario is home to the world's southern-most population of polar bears? Their habitat in the northern Boreal region is the largest intact carbon storehouse in the world and it is under threat due to the effects of industrial development. Protecting this storehouse helps stave off the worst impacts of climate change. Wildlands League is raising awareness about the plight of Ontario's Polar Bears with a new campaign, On Thin Ice: Can Carbon in Forests and Bogs Help Save Polar Bears?
